Nothing replaces homemade apple pit but when time is not on your side (which it has not been on mine lately), it's important to have some shortcuts on your hand just in case you need to make something for a gathering in just a few minutes. I always keep
Pillsbury Crescents on hand because you can make basically anything with them. I have done pizza rolls, nutella rolls, mini sandwiches and so much more. Since I had so many apples from my apple picking adventure, I made these tasty apple pie bites. So easy & perfect for a quick fall dessert. What is your favorite go-to easy dessert?
Ingredients:
1 large apple, peeled & chopped into small pieces
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/3 cup brown sugar or coconut palm sugar (I used coconut palm sugar)
1 can 8 oz Pillsbury Crescents
Directions: Pre-heat oven to 375° & grease cookie sheet with oil. In a small bowl, mix apple slices, cinnamon, melted butter and sugar to make "Apple pie filling." Separate crescents and roll in "apple pie filling." Bake for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon & enjoy. Serve warm.
Ever After,
Jamie
